Comfortable room, helpful staff, and the breakfast was customizable to suit our tastes on different days, which made our stay enjoyable, especially given the convenient location near the start of the walk to the castle.

    Couldn't stay longer.

    maintenance issues
    stale smell

I enjoyed the fresh vegetable carvery on Sunday. The staff made my stay comfortable with their friendliness. I had a great time during a night with entertainment, despite the noise. The views of the countryside were relaxing.

There were a few maintenance issues. The place could benefit from some tidying up. The bar area smelled a bit stale.

The welcoming staff made the visit enjoyable, and the food was quite good, especially the lasagne. waiting at the bar for service felt lengthy, with some locals being loud and disruptive. a pleasant experience but with some room for improvement.

Fantastic family stay with great views

I just returned from a short break with my family, and we had such a lovely experience! The location is fantastic, with stunning views of Tintagel Castle right from our room. Breakfast had generous portions and the dinners were fresh and well-prepared, making it easy for us to dine in every night. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, created by the family-run nature of the place. the bar noise was a bit distracting at times, especially in the evenings.

great base for exploring tintagel and nearby landmarks

I loved how close it was to the Old Post Office, just a few steps away, and enjoying a hearty meal at the Olive Garden right next door made our stay even better. the staff was friendly and accommodating for a solo traveler like me on a weekend getaway.

Had a great time with friends exploring the castle and nearby beaches. The rooms were clean and comfy, and we loved the breakfast. Be ready for some steps, but the location is ideal for attractions. Would recommend the local lunch spots as well!

The only downside was some noise from the bar that could be a bit distracting at times.

    Stunning Views and Delicious Food

I had an amazing stay enjoying the gorgeous views of Tintagel Castle right from the terrace. The breakfast was a highlight with generous portions and the option to fill out a card the night before for quick service. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home, which really enhanced our experience. One small downside was the noise from the bar area at night, which could be a bit distracting.

    noise disturbance
    soundproofing issues

The Wootons Inn offered a charming decor with comfortable seating areas, making it easy for seniors to relax and enjoy the lovely views of the countryside. The staff were attentive, ensuring all my needs were met.

Better soundproofing from the bar noise.
